Elegant Tree and Pathway Lighting in Point Grey

For this Crown Crescent home in Vancouver’s Point Grey neighbourhood, the homeowners were dealing with old path lights and spotlights placed directly in the grass. Over time, these fixtures leaned, got knocked over, and made mowing difficult.
We designed a new system that solved these issues while transforming the property into a nighttime showcase. In-ground fixtures replaced the old spot lights, providing a clean look that blends seamlessly with the landscape. Down lights mounted in the trees replaced the path lights, casting natural illumination over the steps and walkways for both safety and ambiance.
In the backyard, we created a private oasis. Since the property is large, we carried the design all the way to the back fence line, lighting up the trees and garden gate. This draws the eye to the farthest corners of the yard, creating depth and turning the entire space into a layered evening scene that can be enjoyed from inside the home.
The result is a refined, low-maintenance system that improves safety, highlights mature trees, and provides a welcoming retreat after dark.
